Hosted by the Environmental Technology and Management Association (ETMA), PetroEnvironment is the biennial gathering uniting all stakeholders of the oil and gas and petrochemicals sectors.

It combines two outstanding events under one roof:

  • An interactive symposium where strategic and technical topics will be discussed at length
  • A commercial exhibition where companies can showcase their expertise and services

Held in Al Khobar and previously placed under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, PetroEnvironment will offer a platform for all stakeholders from the upstream and downstream industries to network, exchange ideas and generate business interests.

At a time where new environmental standards are being implemented, PetroEnvironment is a not to be missed event for any company willing to expand its business with Saudi Aramco for years to come.


The Environmental Technology and Management Association (ETMA)


The Environmental Technology and Management Association (ETMA) is the Saudi Arabian Section of the Air and Waste Management Association (SAS – A&WMA). ETMA became the first international section of the association in 1993 and currently has approximately 300 members. The goals of A&WMA are to promote technology exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education and outreach events.

ETMA board of directors is composed of seasoned environmental practitioners from Saudi Aramco, Prince Mohammed University, King Fahd University for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University of Dammam. 

Through activities such as workshops, seminars, functions, ETMA brings together industry, government, academia and other stakeholders together share knowledge on crucial environmental topics and to continue to strive for excellence for the benefit of the oil and gas industry and the wider community.
